Jump to: navigation, search

Core facility of the institute for light and electron microscopy. National consultant laboratory for diagnostic electron microscopy of pathogens. The unit is part of the emergency diagnostic capabilities of the institute. Research interests: infectious biofilm; dormancy and germination of bacterial endospores; diagnostic electron microscopy; sample preparation methods. Scientific cooperations with external groups/scientists are possible if research interests are linked to infectious disease and/or other health problems of significant relevance for the public.
